Super Clean 1962 Martin D-28 Dreadnought

Martin built this gorgeous D-28 dreadnought in their old North Street factory using hot hide glue and a stunning set of straight-grained Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. The standard luthier work has already been done so you can enjoy the strong bass and sweet tone with low action right out of the box.

This vintage Martin is in exceptional condition and includes the original deluxe black Lifton hardshell case with green plush lining. The bridge plate, Grover tuners, pick guard and finish are original. The guitar still has a full set of original red eye bridge pins and end pin. Recent professional luthier work included a neck reset, refret, drop filling one ding in the top and a dead-nuts replica replacement bridge. A barely visible pickguard crack was repaired and the rest of the guitar appears to be crack-free.

Comfortable setup with low action up the neck. Factory spec string height at 12th fret measures 5/64″ on the high e string and 7/64″ on the low E string with proper saddle height. This D-28 is a joy to play with a strong voice and brilliant tone.
