For your peace of mind, Original Vintage Guitars, LLC (“we,” “us” or “our”) offers the Buyer (“you” or “your”) a 48-hour approval period on all instruments shipped within the USA. From the time of delivery, you have 48 hours in which to inspect the instrument and verify its condition to your satisfaction. If your expectations are not met, notify us by e-mail within the 48-hour approval period and we will authorize a return. Return shipping and insurance costs are your responsibility. The instrument must be returned to us unmodified, in the same condition it was received. Your failure to notify us within the 48-hour approval period window constitutes full and final acceptance of the instrument “as-is, where-is.” In person purchases are final. Sales within the state of Florida are subject to state and county sales tax. For vintage amplifiers, if a speaker cone or tube is damaged in transit, we will arrange for and cover the cost of speaker reconing and replace broken tubes with like parts. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or by check at our sole discretion, less any payment fees or shipping costs. In no event are we liable for consequential or special damages or for transportation, installation, adjustment or other expenses which may arise in conjunction with the instruments or parts. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Major credit cards
- Bank wire transfer
- Personal check
- Cash in person
Most personal checks clear within 3 business days, but please allow up to 10 business days for checks to clear. We will keep you updated and ship the instrument as soon as we are notified by the bank that the check has cleared processing.
All instruments are carefully packed in new, high strength shipping cartons. Amplifiers ship in double wall boxes with rigid foam support. Packing material is carefully placed to cushion impact and provide crush resistance. Each shipment is fully insured against loss or damage through Heritage Musical Instrument Insurance Co. Boxes are unmarked for security with signature required.
For most domestic shipments, we use FedEx 2 day service. If you prefer another carrier or require overnight delivery, contact us to discuss the options. We can also arrange hold for pickup at your local FedEx location.
We welcome buyers from outside the USA. We have shipped vintage instruments safely around the world to many satisfied buyers. For international purchases we accept international bank wire transfers paid in USD. We ship by FedEx International Express service with delivery in about 3 days. Shipments are fully insured and declared at full value. You are responsible for all customs fees, duties, and assume all risk of importation. Instruments shipped outside the USA are sold “as-is”, and do not include an approval period. In the unlikely event of damage in transit, we will cover the cost of repairs and devaluation of the instrument, as determined by an approved appraisal.
Delivery is subject to and contingent upon strikes, labor difficulties, fire, storm, delay or defaults of common carriers, failure or curtailment in our usual source of supply, governmental decrees or orders or any other delays beyond our reasonable control; and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising therefrom.
