Old Factory 1960 Martin 000-18

Classic and versatile 000 size Martin acoustic guitar in Style 18 trim. Built in 1960 at the old North Street factory in Nazareth, PA. A very well-preserved flat top with its original full-height bridge and bridge plate, and all necessary luthier work completed to bring it back to factory specification. This model and era offer extremely high utility value for recording and performing many styles of music. The tone is lush and brilliant.

The overall condition is quite pleasing with the original natural finish showing light wear and fine lacquer checking. Luthier repair work included a neck reset and addressing several short cracks: the typical pickguard crack, several side cracks and one at the upper edge of the back. Outstanding feel after the setup, with the frets and fingerboard free from wear. Includes a more recent Martin-badged 000 size TKL hardshell case with green lining.
