Rare Transitional Solid State EP-2 Tape Echo

The black box should have been the first clue for the transitional model! This vintage Maestro Echoplex unit has the configuration of the sound-on-sound EP-2. But under the hood, we found the surprise of solid state circuitry. Potentiometers stamped 7103 for very early 1971 manufacture. That makes this particular tape delay a very late EP-2, a rarely seen variation. Very few were made like this.

The unit has been completely serviced by Guitar Hi-Fi with no expense spared. All replaced parts included along with an invoice for the work. Reproduction footswitch.
