One Owner Tweed Fender Princeton
The original owner bought this tweed Princeton in Louisiana in 1957, and then kept it in factory original condition. This exceptionally well-preserved narrow panel amp is a time capsule to the past, the rare “survivor” amplifier that still works and sounds glorious despite never being serviced. We purchased this vintage Fender amp from the grandson of the original owner.
The photos show the original leather handle, the original two prong plug, the original speaker cone, the original capacitors and even the original RCA and Sylvania tubes. The pale, golden color of the original tweed covering looks beautiful. Both transformers are original and nothing has been modified. Overall excellent and clean condition, with just a bit of corrosion on the faceplate from moisture in the air. You’ll love the sound from this collector grade tweed amp that you can actually play.
