Polaris White 1965 Gibson SG Special

Gibson’s iconic SG body shape looks even more striking in the optional Polaris White finish. This 1965 Special has survived the decades unbroken in its original Gibson hardshell case. The serial number and potentiometer codes date the guitar to 1965.

The original P-90 pickups really sing, with the 4 knob control layout offering lots of tonal variations. Solder joints appear original and unbroken on the factory electronics. The rare white finish is original with just a few chips and checks that confirm the authenticity. Underneath the original double line Klusons you can see extra tuner screw holes from a different set of tuners. The original frets show hardly any wear, and the neck plays effortlessly after a recent professional setup.
