Dakota Red 1966 Fender Mustang

Aside from a replacement tremolo arm, this 1966 Fender Mustang is entirely original, including the frets. The original Dakota Red finish is still as red as a fire engine, with a pleasing patina of light wear and finish checking. You can see the factory “ES” imprint under the pickguard, typical of 1966 Fender production.

The standard Fender B neck features a comfortable profile that plays smoothly with very little wear on the frets or fingerboard. The original pickups sound great, with all the sliders and electronics working properly. This vintage Mustang comes with the original case and vintage woven hippie strap.
