Vintage Fender Blackface Tone
Just back from our amp technician, this blackface Fender Deluxe sounds amazing. After the maintenance work it is a safe, reliable musical instrument for recording or touring. All components were tested and cleaned, a grounded 3 prong plug installed, replacement of several capacitors and resistors, and new power tubes. The rectifier tube is a modern replacement and the remaining tubes are vintage and test strong.
This classic blackface combo amplifier still has all its original Schumacher transformers. The original Oxford 12K5 speaker is in great shape and delivers classic tone. The date codes are documented in the photos, along with some wear and tear of the black Tolex covering. Comes with a modern single button footswitch to turn the tremolo effect on/off. The 1 x 12 configuration and cabinet size make the blackface Deluxe powerful enough to keep up with a drummer. The tone retains its pleasing characteristics at lower volumes as well.
