VINTAGE GIBSON SKYLARK TREMOLO
Freshly serviced by our amp tech, this little Skylark Tremolo will give your tweed Champ a run for its money at a fraction of the price. He installed a 3 prong plug and a few new capacitors. Unlike most of these vintage Gibson amps, the tremolo on this GA-5T actually works. The 8″ Jensen speaker is original to the amplifier, as are both transformers. Vintage tubes in all three sockets from Gibson, Amperex and Raytheon.
Although the upper back panel is missing in action, the leather handle is still original. We’ll include a modern replacement with the amp in case you want to swap it out. Vintage Gibson amps are rising in popularity as more people discover their capabilities. The Skylark Tremolo is the one to have, with crunchy tone at bedroom volumes.
