Blackface Princeton with Original Footswitch
Fender built this late 1964 Princeton Amp right after the transition to the AA964 circuit – it’s one of the first 1000 Fender amps in the A serial number range. Pre-CBS features include the black Fender Electric Instrument Co faceplate, and grille cloth without the Fender logo. The tube chart is stamped “NL” for December 1964 and both original Schumacher transformers have late 1964 date codes.
The original black footswitch controls the tremolo effect which sounds great through the original 10″ CTS speaker. Lightly serviced with 3 prong and one replaced tube. The remaining tubes are vintage/original RCA with an Amperex Bugle Boy rectifier. It sounds as sweet as it looks.
